The Copse Pool House- Surrey

The Pool house commission is part of a broader review and masterplan for an existing 2 acre family home, located within Surrey’s Green Belt.
The design concept introduces a linear spine, which knits together a series of proposed additions and outbuildings, providing both extended living areas and a new pool house pavilion.

The linear wall has been used as a way of organising the various components of the scheme around a series of external spaces.  These spaces evoke the character of a traditional walled garden, as well as structuring the broader site into semi-public arrival spaces, and more private south facing gardens and leisure spaces.
